Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I enjoy the view from the tables. Yes the food is very good but I'm not gonna chat on & on about food. Not here to specifically rate food & beverage quality, as much as I should. To know that it can be busy during high season is when visitors' patience and kindness are key. I do wish there were certain soft serve flavors at the ice cream stand. Not all just hard ice cream. Footwear should be strongly advised! The cafe and store is located on island, treat it like a business, not your own camp!!! Wear shoes, sandals, etc. If customers can take their own time to wait in line for ice cream and their meals (to be cooked), they most certainly are capable of taking a few minutes to put shoes, (sandals etc) on before going inside either the store and cafe. That important non-existent rule needs to be more strict and enforced. Employees need to be very vocal regarding customers wearing appropriate closed shoes/ sneakers. On another note, the staff work very, very hard to meet customers' expectations and do their best to earn customer satisfaction. Repeat customer service is essential in all retail and restaurant businesses."
"Great summer place to pull up with your boat and get a great lunch and some drinks. Staff is super friendly and nice and the food was very good! They actually had some unique food that i was not expecting like the Salmon stack and ahi tuna nachos which were amazing! The burger was incredible as expected. They are dog friendly and even have a menu for your them! We pulled up two different days with our small inflatable and had a great time both days! Definitely recommend!"
"Our party of 7 adults and 3 children all enjoyed our meals! Service was spot on. Atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely go back."
"What a great scenic spot for lunch. 5 of us had lunch here and got there via a boat. There are two docks for the restaurant and space flips pretty quick. We were there on a Tuesday around one and it was steady but not busy, I imagine on a Saturday finding dock space takes a bit. The food was great as was the service. We had wings, and various sandwiches. The menu had a surprisingly large amount of items and variation. Great time, and would certainly come back"
"Small town summer store. Lots to do, eat, and see. Fun family destination when you’re boating Sebago Lake. They have everything from candy to sweatshirts. You can dig for gems or shop the vast array of needful summer stuff."
"It has delicious food, a beautiful view, friendly staff, great service, awesome souvenirs, tasty ice cream, and a good atmosphere too! I go here every summer and it’s always fun!"
"Great place to stop by when you’re out boating. Keep in mind that during summer it’s very busy and you will have to stay in line waiting to dock; also, there’s normally a line to order and pay inside. Bring mosquito spray for outside seating area. Fun place!"
"Last night on the island and what a great place to have dinner with the family. Menu was very versatile and had something for everyone. Lobster roll was really good. Poke bowl my wife loved, truffle fries and wings hit the spot. Will come and eat every year."
